Travelling with Oasis Overland During Ramadan

The Oasis Overland family would like to wish all of our Muslim staff, guides and local teams best wishes for Ramadan.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, a period of profound spiritual significance for Muslims worldwide. It's a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community, during which observant Muslims abstain from food and drink from dawn until sunset. Beyond the physical act of fasting, Ramadan is a month dedicated to increased devotion, self-discipline, and heightened awareness of those less fortunate. It commemorates the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad, making it a particularly holy time for spiritual growth and connection with God.
