On Tuesday 22nd April our first ever northerly Trans Africa expedition will start in Cape Town on an epic 23 week journey to Fes in Morocco! Although we have travelled this route in a southerly direction for over 20 years, journeying from south to north will bring us new challenges. We will be travelling in different seasons which will bring us rain and plenty of muddy roads to negotiate. Visa applications, often a challenge at any time, will need to be made in different cities with different processes. With any Transcontinental expedition, we need to be flexible with our itinerary and even more so with a trip like this. But we’re always up for a challenge and new experiences and we can’t wait for this adventure to start!
Meet The Crew
Steve and Jordan are currently in Cape Town, preparing the truck, equipment and food stocks ready for the expedition ahead. A lot of work goes into these trips both before they start and during the journey, much of it behind the scenes.
Jordan is new to Africa but is an experienced tour leader and logistics co-ordinator, organising trips and leading groups in South East Asia and Japan.
Steve is a skilled overland driver, mechanic and tour leader and has led expeditions all over the world. Having started out over 30 years ago, he has run more Trans Africa expeditions than we can remember and is a bit of a legend on the road!

CAPE TOWN TO FES (23 WEEKS) TRANS AFRICA
Embarking on this expedition will give you an insight into the varied cultures of West and Central Africa and all the challenges this vast continent can throw at you. There will be days when it will be pretty tough - bad roads, harsh terrains and extremes of climates, but you will also get to experience, see and discover a continent most travellers only dream of - whilst having the experience of a lifetime!
